Empty vessels attached to newness, why is psychoanalysis even still talked about?
(By Hella Ahmed) To include psycho analysts onto forums so they can strangely talk (and some of them seem disturbed) about bioethics is ridicule. The only way for those so-called researchers who are not seriously capable of bringing something valuable to the ongoing conversation about progress to express something somehow interesting is to try and rewrite intelligent borrowed content while including here and there some of the old useless psycho-analytical jargon.
Of course, they have to take credit for the ideas of intellectuals who don’t believe in the outdated delusional system or have overcome it. « Titles » cover up for the endless desperate schemes. France is a « nutcase” when it comes to organizing the social status of research, a title trumps real competence and the circus isn’t even funny.
However, the new generation of thinkers won’t even bother going to these forums forcing on them some of the « old useless mentality » to protect an elitism that can be presented as protecting the public.
Legitimizing “phoniness” in the name of chaperoned evolution is also the tradition of conservatism and Christianity, we know that many need this old system to perpetuate the coercion of souls and an unbothered savage capitalism.
What is interesting to observe is that so-called leftists are using that “divine right” unnamed but visible strategy to actually counter the access to power (because visibility and recognition is a power, the power to influence and make a good living etc.) of interesting thinkers who can actually seriously contribute to the conversation about evolution/biology/ethics.
To be remembered as part of the leading « relève », you need to be credited for your own work and be given the opportunity to present your ideas to the public! We, originals, can witness the struggle of those empty vessels, affiliated to universities, trying to keep a renommée that certifies their useless presence which may be reflecting some kind of power. Knowledge is shining elsewhere anyway, and they know it, that’s why they copy like upset monkeys.
