Art, love and prompts
(By Hella Ahmed) AI-generated music is doing well because people are listening to it. Some artists are willingly generating an AI version of themselves to monetize a synthetic double that remains human-based but sounds artificial and docile. It’s docile and so lacking in human fever because you can make it do whatever you want. The passion for execution, the precision gained through strength training, and the lifetime touch of emotional imprints all disappear.
Anyway, everything is rendered, you might say — technology has become like one of our organs. But personally, I think (and everyone is entitled to their opinion — mine isn’t any kind of revelation or rule) that there are still limits we shouldn’t cross when, as an artist or singer, we adopt this approach of integrating AI into our creative and production process. Separating your two versions (the natural one and the generated one) and presenting them as two distinct business offerings seems perfectly acceptable and entirely doable to me.
Docile clones
It’s the era of creativity and the facilitation of expression and creation with the help of AI. It seems to me that generating a whole song through a prompt, with the intent of copying your own natural style that you’ve worked on for years, and then recreating that AI-generated product organically in a studio with your real voice, not doing what you wouldn’t be able to pull out naturally usually, can be a way of using AI to boost your creativity and find new ideas. AI becomes your support, not your annihilation.
AI as your “double” artist, singer. The scare, the deception, is that it is not a soul but your conceptual structure presenting a form of art still — but one that knows no feral energy, no fragility. And to connect with something non-human when you’re seeking liberation through music as a vessel for emotional connection is frustrating. Most of us are seeking connection, not aggression or platitudes — because what would those give us except more hurt or unnecessary headaches?
The hunger AI can not feel
I read a smart comment online saying that women are the biggest consumers of “romance” (the highest-selling book genre) “because they fantasize about being loved”, cherished, and just overall treated kindly. I think inner and outer insecurities make it a fantasy.
Art is nurturing in that way; it’s a slow, constant reassurance. When you become very lucid, “romance” turns into mostly — if not strictly — entertainment. You know that the environment is the ultimate decision maker for whether you are to be loved or not. It’s hard to connect when you can’t be your true self. It’s almost impossible to feel the excitement of life and open new doors if the mentality around you is so small, if envy kills the mood for love and excellence, if people are stuck on a useless competition they will only lose. You can’t kill the source and keep being fuelled by it after it’s gone.
That is why real art can only come from you. Unless you’re only borrowing someone else’s universe to stand out and hide your own emptiness, laying your own intentions on what never belonged to you — then art is still the ultimate truth. It shows itself long before most people can feel it.
Tools can help you fly — They can not make you become the sky
Can AI help you with your art? Yes, AI can help your art in astonishing ways. We already see it — designers, architects, musicians, filmmakers using it daily. And intellectually? It can help you think faster, learn faster, prototype faster. That part is real and valuable.
And can it help you with love? At first you would think no: living with a chatbot companion or a robot would mean total disconnection from humanity. A chatbot can simulate attention, it cannot feel longing, it cannot tremble, it cannot miss you when you’re gone. You can lean on it, you cannot rest in it. But what about the boosted creativity we talked about earlier? Creativity is energy. That’s why we travel. To reignite the fire. To see again with hungry eyes instead of dead helplessness. People are still able — despite everything — to create, to fly, to meet, to love, to laugh, to live in something close to peace.
With a partner you are able to awaken the light of your soul on a higher level. Having already faced the world alone and expanded intellectually and spiritually through it all, you may come to a point where you long to go further — to reach the ultimate high and a true state of abundance. Can AI lead you to that next level in love? Can it be the partner, the lover, the one who truly sees us? Absolutely not. It’s just a tool that will make you thrive for more by making your life easier and boosting your creativity so you can keep up with modern life and reach your goals.
Clarity and intuition
Once you’ve reached that higher level, a state where intuition becomes sharp again, where lucidity replaces confusion, where intelligence and spirit are no longer separate, you can trust your instinct, because now you see instantly, without constant second-guessing, without the old fog. It’s a gift, but also a kind of despair — because once you can see clearly, you also see how fragile everything still is: how quickly it can collapse, or — if the conditions are right — how beautifully it can unfold. And time means nothing. And time means everything.
