The truth about the distorted truth ..

(By Hella Ahmed) Twitter used to be prestigious, it was the playground of the circles, the appointed guardians of the cultural letting someone in or not into the bubble of the mediatised promised to success, following a social hierarchy based on political ties. It was open though, but some were in there, visible, on a thin line, waiting for real success after the unavoidable war that had got to eventually hit, as the ultimate test against discrimination, elitism and favouritism.

The cultists

It is like an open space for portfolios now that the Musk and his cultists are controlling the vibe, everyone seemingly tries their luck and posting can greatly boost your business and tremendously help out your success, but not everyone has the same chances. The barriers are still there, invisible, working on making some targets vanish for the benefit of vampires (again, political ties in play).

Also, the visibility success is most of the time about looks, any rich daddy’s girl can post average thoughts about life and will be viewed millions, because she looks good, goes golfing and skiing, poses in beautiful gowns. Plagiarists are always more than happy to share and flatter these profiles, they get their substance from targeted brilliant and silenced sources while they show their appreciation to the chosen ones, the privileged celebrated for the little they are capable of intellectually.

That is reality, the whole scene is not about real knowledge, it is about showing off and exploitation, it’s a presentation made of the visible unreal and the unseen that average Joe will not dig in to unravel the mysteries of life online and beyond. And we have to live with it, because that’s our modern society and social media is mostly about glam and scam. Just play it dreamy thinker, a bit romantic and a good faith booster, you will be liked and rewarded by the fakes and random people under the influence of hypnotic injonctions.

The distorted reality

If no one is talking about you by sharing your work (not copying it which is fraud), you’re not reaching the public (although being closely watched by so-called elites in need of fresh ideas, pretending that it is legitimate to plunder based on a social order, political ties, pseudo-intellectual discourses favouring them), and maybe someone is using you, your product, to achieve success, getting the needed support and the financial retribution that you deserve.

Also, as I mentioned it in a previous piece (Twitter will entertain us not save us) “the subscriptions option is not offered equally to everyone who deserves it, the evaluation criteria is subjective and your word has no weight in the process. So, you can be a creator paying for blue and not generating any revenue on your side, investing for “nothing”, because you will not be granted the monetization option and your views count shows that you are almost invisible, although followed by real and interesting people, not a million bots”.

And so it is basically his entourage made of family, business partners and influencers he has been boosting to get them views, impressions and replies, who are benefiting from the monitization programs outcomes. A lot of these favorites actors are known to be extremists, copycat stalkers, tweets thieves, plagiarists and shit-posters (of course you can find the in-between too, which is basically: I’ll be discrete today and slide back into the dark side tomorrow to please the lord and make my money, I’ll just mix it up a little so it’s not obvious that I have no real purpose).

What to think?

Doesn’t make much sense « freedom of speech not reach », it is very subjective and can subject some smart people with healthy content to intellectual slavery because what is offensive to a lot of users (due to common sense, and so unhealthy) will reach them, when what is unpleasant to some « master » but totally in the mindset of freedom of speech and healthy will be throttled to not reach.

When you have a platform with so many radicals reaching so much and adult content, you wonder why someone fixated on you is so keen on limiting your reach if it is not for exploitation, basically turning you into an enslaved bright force. Just like what a poker player, money maker, would say : « I’d rather lose my money to wealthy people than someone who really needs it, because I know that it can make his\her life better and I would hate to see that for a competitor who is still struggling. I don’t really like to see people win. I resent the peasant’s strive for success. »

Gaslighting won’t cut it for me. Reality is not what a vilain wants it to be so he can feel good about his unethical ways and mistakes, reality is what we face when truth is known! And truth is obvious to brilliant minds (like mine ftw!).
