Fly free to your truth

(By Hella Ahmed) My biggest mistake was staying in that toxic and corrupt environment for far too long, still believing there was hope — until I realized my life had slipped away right before my eyes while I stood by helplessly. I threw away thirty years of my life because I kept convincing myself there was fairness and goodness to be found where there was none. Now that I have stopped denying reality, I am leaving them all behind to face the truth.

You cannot change such an environment. Remaining trapped in that same unbearable place is self-destruction. Had I left ten years ago, I would have fully benefited from my diplomas, my work, and my investments. Instead, everything was stolen and destroyed.

The universe does not care about your values or whether you are a good or bad person. Look at all those horrible people doing the worst, playing it cool, endorsed by fake humanists and corrupt politicians. They abound in this life; they get to face themselves in luxury rather than crying in holiness and poverty. Don’t be like them, but don’t be blind either. The universe does not reward helplessness and naïveté. It gives you what you ask for. It is not a reward system based on integrity, but rather a clear message: go get it, and don’t be fooled by illusions — if you want to be saved and truly enjoy your presence on this earthly circuit. Choose your path: be the brain or the fool waiting for a miraculous halo to buy you a house surrounded by prosperity.

Your brain already knows. Your self-concept is what defines your future. If you feel stuck and you know that there is no sense in wasting your energy trying to find light in a cave or build a home where it’s forbidden, you have to follow the path that is being shown to you by your senses. You feel imprisoned in pettiness and a small box where you can no longer fit your muscles and neurons. Move. Move away from the hell of an empty life.

Those who watch you, eager to clip your wings and keep you small, thrive on your silence and suffering. They want you docile, heartbroken, poor, and obedient — enslaved.

Open your wings and soar above their narrow minds and darkness. Follow your own path, not their bitterness or foolish schemes. They fixate on you because they lack creativity; their only talents are gossip, envy, and theft. Let them revel in each other’s company. Depart, and seek out intelligent, interesting souls who can truly appreciate your presence and your gifts. Do not waste your life.

I will leave with my immense worth and the hope that I still have enough energy to build something new, somewhere much better and healthier — a place where I can smile again every single day and live the rest of my life with pride and accomplishment. I will leave with my beautiful spirit and wonderful destiny in my own hands. I leave mediocrity behind.
